i have a rca vcr. when it is plugged in the timer light flashes. it will not turn on by the remote. i have tested the batteries and remote and they work. when i press the power on the vcr it comes on. also when a tape is put on it goes in a little then comes out. does this sound like a bad circuit board or capacitor? please let me know what is the issue. thank you

Could be capacitors, could be a broken belt, blocked sensor, or sticky arm in the tape handling mechanism, could be someone pried a jammed tape out.

PROBLEM-WHEN I PLUG THE CHARGER WITHOUT BATTERY THE CHARGING LIGHT BLINKS AND WHEN I PRESS POWER BUTTON THE CHARGING LIGHT STOPS BLINKING AND STAYS ON BUT THE POWER LIGHT DOESNT TURN ON AND LAPTOP ALSO DOESNT TURN ON NO FAN SPINS NO KEYBOARD LIGHT.
CHECKED- ON S5 STATE TGE LAPTOP HAS 5V ON USB 3.3V BUT I DIDNT GET 1.8VOLTS ON BIOS PIN NO 8 WHILE PLUGGED IN AND EVEN ON S5 STATE.
GUIDE ME WITH THE PROBLEM..

I’m working on this Samsung 60” LED and purchased a new main board a couple of days ago that did not fix the 5 blink issue. The original main board’s HDMI ports (all 4 of them) failed to work and no amount of reflow remedied that.
This 5 red light blink code on the front panel LED is followed (about 15-20 seconds afterward) by an automatic reboot, and results in 5 more red light blinks. Then the entire cycle repeats itself indefinitely.
No picture. No sound.
I tested all the voltages coming out of the power supply... -

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.
Model number is TH-50PZ85U
Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.
Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.
I also hear a few clicks.
I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

The issue with Light of America was the blast boards had all most certain board failure while bulbs hardly ever fail
While the Lithonia lighting fixture has all most certain bulb failure
So I have modified the Lithonia lighting fixture to accept the Light of America light bulb and see how long this will last
