anyone have experience solving rebooting or blue screen without anything showing on display pannel.
on Samsung un85un900. 85in 8k qled display with one connect box.
I will upload some images if someone can pinpoint any diods or resister that could potentially go bad.
I see no trades or points for vgh or vhh or clock lines or anything that typica5teatwd on this TV.

it was rebooting but after removing some part of ribbon that stops.

A lot of times rebooting is either bad panel or corrupt software. Try unplugging lvds cables going to the panel 1 at a time and see if the tv stays on or keeps rebooting.

Also unplug the mainboard from the power supply and plugging in to see if you get Backlights on.

Does it reboot and red blink 2x? I've had.more Samsungs that were unfixable with bad panels then I've had good Samsungs that are fixable. When they break... the friggin break. But sounds like panel, like story said, unconnect one cable at a time. Can always try the Samsung tape method to fix temporarily

I did the ribbons. if I leave put little tape on 3rd ribbon litt but half way. then it stops rebooting. but stays blank screen. u can see the back light changing when u change channels or menus. just can't see it

Well that kind of confirms a panel short I would think. Damn Samsungs. Their shit be shorting everywhere. I've had more unfixable Samsungs then any other tv.

No diagram, wish you luck tho. Gotta be expensive tv

Try checking caps and diodes on the buffer boards. You might get lucky and find a bad one. Otherwise it’s a bad panel as mentioned. Keep trying the tape method and see if you get better results

I can not find the threads I was referring to. The search here is not that great but neither is google's. It's always tough and sometimes I would say impossible to determine exactly where a short or malfunction is, when dealing with panel section, It's been covered many many times on youtube and various forums, sometimes removing 1 or both tvs diodes will let the tv work again, don't know if that is your problem but it's just one more possibility, here's a explanation of what they do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKACLpBYhxU
