    Samsung QN50Q60TAFXZA

I just picked this QN50Q60TAFXZA up for FREE in my neighborhood. According to the last owner it started flaking out on startup. When plugged in it begins to show the QLED screen but it flashes about every 8-10 seconds. Have not had it apart yet. I can't find any threads on this model. It does have some funky horizontal lines in the screen when I caught the power up on my iPhone.

Is there a common problem I should be looking for?

Happy to cruise a specific thread if you guys know what I should be searching for.

There's some pretty simple things to ty, if none of them work, being a QN I wouldn't be surprised if it was a problem on a panel driver/address board, probably bad diode pack or bad resistor/s but simple things should always be tried first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnJNItPbf48

Thanks - unfortunately this thing is a goner. I made a grave mistake when I opened the back of the set and a ribbon cable was damaged causing a vertical line in the screen. I did find some information on the "real" problem but since I shot myself in the foot it's now a nice 50" light panel.

On to the next find - whenever that is...

I see, that is unfortunate, yep have to be real careful, specially around the bottom edge, best not to stick anything in there, easy to ruin those since the edge and ribbons are real close together.

Samsung QLED QE65Q7FNAT only standby light
            by Kaar3l
            TV: Samsung QLED QE65Q7FNAT
            PSU: BN4400940A
            MB: BN94-12832K

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...sung-qled-q60r...

Samsung QLED GQ50Q67TGU turns on and off
            by Batata
            Hello everybody,

my TV has a problem. It keeps turning on and off. The speakers are still working, and I hooked up the TV to my PC, and it recognizes it as a Samsung device. I am able to get a stable backlight when I disconnect the cable(I believe it is called the LVDS cable) that connects the left lower board (which is connected to the "main board") and the right lower board. I have tried a taping method I saw on YouTube, where the CLK cables are taped off. In fact, I proceeded to figure out which pin I have to tape off in order to get a stable backlight. It doesn't matter...

Yet another Samsung QLED Boot Loop
            by Takeatry
Samsung QLED QN50Q — purchased 2022 started experiencing a delay in the picture coming on in the morning less than 2 years later. Did not know the term boot loop at that time. As the loop delay ran into a few minutes did all the recommended troubleshooting, soft and hard reset, changing cables and outlet locations, no help. As the delay increased contacted Samsung tech group and allow them remote access the tv. Tech was moving too fast to see exactly what he was doing but this ultimately it was also no help. Lived with the delay until it stretched out over 6 hours. Pulled of off the back cover...
