That being the case, looks like you will have to do it yourself, youtube is your friend for how to videos, I myself would not try to fix it until it screws up again. Who knows it might go another year or it might go longer, start a new tv fund, by the time it goes bad you might have enough for a new one. I wouldn't buy a new tv because even tho they are pretty cheap to buy, it still don't justify 3 or 400 bucks every couple years when they go to shit. I would get a good used one but not a sony, they are unreliable and flaky, worse than samsung in a lot of ways.
