I had a lg 55lb6000 in for no backlight issue.Well i replaced them all as usual and took extra care with panel. When i reassembled all look well until i hooked up the hdmi source, there was slow motion blur on laft side about 1/4 of screen.I initially suspected t-con and had one so that wasn't it.I replaced main board also as i had one,no go.I ended up ripping those 4 tabs of panel and full brightness and screen returned to normal.Anyone else have experience like this?

Prolly the usual bad cof on that side, did you take a good look at the cofs, a lot of times you can tell a bad one, a hole somewhere, discoloration, black, misshapen. -

No shit, you got polar bears? I think they're AWESOME but I would give them a very wide berth and not get on their property.

by bart64After my ASUS motherboard had random freezes and lockups, i found out that a defective dimm caused the issue, but after change the red indication led on the board keeps flashin with new dimm memory . Reset of the pushbuttion or reset of the cmos does nothing. After the damage one FET near the dimm gets very hot and also some smoke appeared of probably small smd resistors or ic probably. After replacement the FET still takes to much power and burns. When the regulator/ power ic close to the dimms UP1642P is removed the fet keeps cool so I decided to order this and replace it with a new one. But...

by bcstedtLG 42LB5D (42LB5DF-UL) from 2008-01, unit is in good shape and no obvious heat damage or cracked solder on the boards.
Problem:
On first power-up the power LED flashes green about 18x and then stays solid. No backlight or image is present. Click power button, wait 10s for a click and the LED turns red. Wait 1-2s and hit power again and maybe it'll power up fully after 6 green flashes. If it doesn't light up on the sixth flash then the cycle repeats.
It seems that if the mainboard power is left on for a few minutes (solid green power, no backlight, no image)... -

Hi Everyone,
I've been working on repairing this beautiful CRT monitor off and on for the past several months and I'm really at a loss for what might be causing the problem.
Unlike other common Horizontal Deflection issues which result in a steady vertical line, when I turn the monitor on, there is a pulsing (somewhat segmented) vertical line. I've attached a photo that shows the issue (difficult to capture without video)....4 Photos-

Unlike other common Horizontal Deflection issues which result in a steady vertical line, when I turn the monitor on, there is a pulsing (somewhat segmented) vertical line. The monitor itself is branded as a P225f, but it turns out that it's actually a Pf815 that has an Add-On smallish PCB that expands it to support...4 Photos -
by ugamazingI have three identical-spec 820-01700 boards (2.6/32/512), and ALL THREE boards came to us with the same fault, from different sources: The boards don't wake from hibernation with the keyboard or lid, they ONLY wake when you press the power button. I understand this is a very minor issue, but the boards must be fixed!
We will of course begin with the obvious (checking lid signals), but I couldn't help but notice these three boards were all 32GB variants. Has anyone noticed an issue relating to these 32GB boards in particular? I of course don't think it's a RAM issue, but it's bizarre... - Loading...
