I have been waiting for a response from our local service centre and finally got a response from them yesterday , unfortunately the reply was that no parts are available due to the set being discontinued , hence me asking now on this site for the kindness of strangers
My 6 odd year old set started not powering up more often than not , standby light on , but 9 times out of ten would do nothing, i tried the whole unplugging the set from the wall and holding the power button down routine and occasionally the set would boot up ok , once alive it worked flawlessly , every aspect worked no problem , it would run all day , until i switched it off back to standby , then nothing again
today i ask you guys out there for your professional guidance please on where to start , the internal boards are as follows , RSAG7.820.6135/ROH for main board type , RSAG7.820.6106/ROH for power supply type board , and RSAG7.820.6137/ROH t-con type board ,
i am hoping someone out there has experience on this set type and can start me off on the journey for repair ,
Another thing that has been in the back of my mind is are newer set types in the 55inch UHD LED hinsense bracket compatible ? for instance , if i were to find a donor set thats newer to replace all my internals with the newer components , could that work ??
Are the screens from sets of say 6 years ago totally different to screens a yesr or 2 ago , of the LED UHD hisense variety or could the boards be re-inserted into say my 55k321uw chassis and screen , incase i cannot find replacements or get mine to work ??
i ask this as i could possibly get a 55U6G with a broken screen ,but everything else is apparntly still working fine ???
First and foremost i would like to try sort mine out , so i am hoping someone out there has has similar experience with hisense to start me off
