It's too late, when dismantled, the motherboard cannot be repaired.

        To Corrize,
Lotas say the board cannot be repaired. He provided me another thread that about you and this unit. My suggestion to you is if you ever come across a different unit that has troubles do not just try to fix it first. You would need to ask help first and listen to a procedure that a technician can provide. It is kind of like learning to walk before you run.

Lol, who said the board can’t be repaired ? A new chip and diode had ordered, and the board will work fine.
In the other thread, I was scared to destroy chemical cap with hot air, but look the last pictures… it’s not a cap, it’s a coil ! So all is good.

My first job (there is so long time) was electronic engineer, I made test boards for R&D, but with crossings components, LM555, etc. I’m not updated but don’t worry, I guess I know a little what I do. I’m not a repair shop, I repair because I like repair nice stuffs, this camera is for my family, it is not so new as pictures, it’s in very bad state, it was dropped as I said above, it’s professionnal use is definitly end.

One question I have is if you were and electronic engineer why you would then need help with this unit?

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
              by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

Guide to transplant MEC1503 EC chip and EEPROM reprogamming for T14s gen 2 and X13 gen 2
              by acedogblast
This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...

ASRock B650M PRO RS - BIOS CHIP 25Q256JW BLOCKED BY STATUS REGISTERS
              by DynaxSC
              Hi

I have a very strange issue with the BIOS SPI chip of an ASRock B650M PRO RS motherboard.
The SPI chip is an Winbond 25Q256JWEQ model (1V8).
The motherbaord doas not POST - it lits only CPU and DRAM EZ Debug Leds, and stays that way forever.
The Flashback function of the motherbaord is also not working, despite all instructions followed correctly - I'm 100% sure of this.

I have then desoldered the chip, backupped the contents, and tried to earease the chip in order to program stock image, but the chip is locked by status registers SREG2 (TB) and SREG6...

What is this bga chip in all Nikon camera ? – power management
              by corrize
Hello, do you know what is this chip or where I can buy it please ? This is a main chip managing voltages : battery voltage in input and outputs are other lower voltages needed by camera.
I have 6-7 boards with this dead chip, but I cant find replacement parts. There is no brand, the number matching with nothing. The top is brilliant and conductive material (yes and it is ground). It's not a plastic like other chips.
In anothers nikon camera, there is this same chip, with differents numbers like 23250.
Do you know where I can find the same please ?

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
              by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...
