SOLVED. I removed the printer in settings, replugged and let it reinstall and it worked this time.
Brother HL-2140 laser printer
Windows 10
Attempt to print and immediately get a Windows pop-up saying "Error printing". The document appears in the printer queue window with Status "Error-printing".
Turned off printer. Unplugged, waited, replugged. Ran the Windows troubleshooter. Removed and reinserted toner cartridge. Checked for paper jam. No printer error lights. Reinstalled driver. Restarted the Spooler service. Rebooted...06-22-2023, 11:11 PM
