Nikon Camera charger

Hi all a friend dropped her charger and it no longer works, I had a quick look inside and seems the Transformer has took the shock of the drop and broke, can anyone identify the part for me please so I can order a replacement. The marking on the Yellow tape are the only ones that are available.

The transformers are usually custom parts for the design and extremely hard to source. You may be able to find a substitute from a similar donor charger.

However, you may be better off searching for a used charger.

You seem to be in luck as you can see the wires coming out of the transformer, Remove the transformer and the broken part with the leads, clean off the varnish on the wires coming from the transformer and attach small lengths of wire to reconect them to the terminals on the broken part. epoxy it back onto the transformer and attach the new leads
Then check on the other side of the board and see if you could drill a couple holes in the pc board (avoiding any copper traces) on either side of the transformer to hold it down using a ziptie or something similar.

Another thing can try unsolder the broken wire and transformer from the board and if you can find some wire rapping wire clean of the varnish off the broken wire and the wire of the transformer but be careful on this end not to break the wire more than it is and joint them ( wire wrap the two wires end to end ) solder them together now you might have to make the hole in plastic piece where the wire broke

Or use a proto board put the wire to it and hot glue the transformer and the small board that used to the main board
