This forum is usefull regarding problem with capacitors. I would like to share my discovery.
We use a lot of Neoware thin client and from time to time, the power supply stops working. On older models, the problem was easy to spot: 2 blown condensers (1000uF near the connectors). But on later models, no clear evidence of defective condenser can be see. By pure luck, I found that the C3 (100uF/25v) needs to be replaced, even if it looks OK.
This 5 Volts power supply is Channel Well Technology model No. PS086-2 and on the PCB I can see SP20015. Sometime I also have to change C9 (1000uF 25v)
In the end, I have repaired around 25 thin client at a very lo cost.
Enjoy
