HP Z400 power supply rewiring 24pin to standard atx

hi there.. need some help and suggestion

i have ex hp z400 powersupply (delta dps475cb-1 a) 475w
i dont have the entire system of z400 ..so i want to use the psu for powering my machine (amd apu system)
the problem is :
z400 psu 24pin connector wiring is different than standard atx psu

my case is different :
its possible to use z400 psu to work with standard atx motherboard (non proprietary motherboard/z400 motherboard) ??? with rewiring its 24pin connector / make moded 24pin adapter???

Ofc. Have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATX#Power_supply for where each wire has to be. Every pin in the connector has two small jags, one at each side, you have to push them to pull the wire out. It's not that easy, I personally use this for such work (and for poping solder joints):
