"NO DISPLAY" message on PC monitor.

    Hello!

My P.C. is showing "NO DISPLAY" message.
I have checked the PSU(power supply unit) & it is working fine i.e. o/p voltages are ok.
Also checked my RAM and VGA cable on my friends computer and both are working fine.
My monitor is also working good.(Checked it on another CPU)
No external graphics card is installed on my motherboard.

Is there any problem with the BGA chip(AMD 215RVA6BVA11FG)? If yes, how to find out a faulty BGA chip?
If no, what are the other possibities for this type of problem?

    Can any one help me?

    Regards
    Amit

Have you tried your pc with another monitor?

How did the fault develop? Did it just come on with that message one day?

Had you made any changes prior to that.

Can you get into the bios?

What operating system are you using?

This is in the wrong forum

      Thanks for replying.
Yes, I have tried my CPU with another monitor & the problem continues.
No changes have been made in the software.
Extra hardisk was added(320 GB) but that was 8 to 9 months ago.
      My CPU has 2 hardisk a) 250 GB & another 320 GB.

There is no display, so how to go into bios?
      OS used :- Windows XP

Under which category i should be posting this question?

Ok - Do you get any "beep" code

Have you tried powering it down and removing the cmos battery ( for an hour) then restarting. This should reset the bios.

Have you tried starting in windows safe mode (press f8 )whilst starting?

Did you actually try to get the bios on screen by pressing F2 Del F1 or whatever your machine needs during startup to do that.

You cant move it to another forum - probably general computer or the specific motherboard if its in the list but its unlikely to be a "power supply
        design and troubleshooting" problem
