Status quo: I've got a few PSU's to re-cap here, and a couple of them need / could use new primary caps. All of them have active PFC stages.
Now, i've narrowed it down to two similarly-priced contenders:
Panasonic TS-UQ 470u/400v, 2000h@85c, 2.39A@120Hz ripple rating
or
Panasonic TS-HD 560u/420v, 3000h@105c, 1.9A@120Hz ripple rating
For longevity's sake, i'm tempted to go with the higher-temp choice, but i'm a tad worried about the lower ripple spec.
Any thoughts?
