Thanks Japlytic, found one here:http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/aluminium/7441795P/
Seems to match but the hight is 25mm on my PSU board there 30mm I guess this will not matter too much.Comment

It is good that you fixed it and supports the theory that the caps going bad is causing the PFC to misbehave causing the clicking, thanks for posting the fix. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by KYBOSHPicked up a bahemoth plasma TV not too long ago and just now getting around to looking at it.
No picture but you hear the TV static (white noise) playing loud and clear.
The back was already taken off (and no screws were provided) as the previous owner had already taken a look.
But it seems they didn't get too far and just left it.
When I first took a look I was amazed at how pristine the inside looked.
Its as if the TV had been in a time capsule.
Caps looked like they were just pulled off the self.

PSU: EAY63168603
PCB: EAX65359531 2013.11.01 Rev:1.0
Main board: EAX65399305(1.0) 13.11.27 PU42A/PA42A/PD42A
Symptom:
While watching, just went black and started clicking relay every few seconds.
Initial diagnosis:
Removing JUST the main CPU/Input PCB from circuit stops the clicking. No problems with any other boards/drivers. (Removing all other boards and only putting Main back in is all it takes to start clicking again)
Deeper diagnosis:

by AkuankaHi everyone,
I'm troubleshooting a power supply issue with a Sony SLV-E780 VCR. The device clicks repeatedly but doesn't power up completely. I've already replaced five capacitors, but the problem persists.
Here's a video link https://photos.app.goo.gl/3Xki6yvCLn67gLX78 showcasing the sound. Based on your experience, could this be due to a transformer, diode, or another component? Any guidance on what to test or replace next would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help! -
by SiskoHi all!!
Ok just got a Onkyo SKW-593 sub woofer that has no power person told me that it smoked and that his GF let the volume full when she powered off the amp and when he came to turn it on the sub played but then suddenly smoke was coming out, didn't say from where. So opened it up and saw a resistor made of metal (pic) but can't see any writing on metal par so what ever was written on it was burnt. So I'm kinda stuck here with this. I did ask for a repair or schematics in the other group section and waiting for this but I hope someone here might lend me a hand to try and identify...4 Photos-

by YanlebDo you know where I can find a firmware upgrade for the Hitachi 42HDT79 plasma TV? My set currently has firmware V0112.0001.
Their service website seems to be on SalesForce now, which requires a login.
Thanks.11-05-2021, 11:55 PM - Loading...
