BacCaps forum is awesome - thank YOU ALL for sharing knowledge!
This is about DONG YANG PSU BN44-00195A failiure in Samsung 245BPLUS. It started with bang and smoke from the back of LCD. Downloaded diagram BM44-00192A - a bit different but I will use all parts names from this diagram [and real PSU].
BIG CAP CP801 had 315V, on standby pin 5,2V. After shorting S_B ON (through 3,3k ohm resistor) 24V and 5,3V were missing, on CP801 was 312V.
RM801 [real PSU: RM801 - 0,22 ohm 1W] - FAIL
burned, measured 10M ohm.

by edugimenoHi there!
My friend wants me to help him repair his old-real-vintage strong-hammer machine. Well it's only 90% real as the force applied doesn't lift the weight itself but it is measured and it moves a motor that lifts the weight
I am attaching several pictures of the machine.
It basically has 2 sides, left side has- 2 x 220->12+24v transformers
- 2 relays (1 moves motor UP, other moves motor DOWN)
- IGF and breakers for safety
- Logic board. Receives 24AC and recitifies it into DC. Contains a uC (M80C85)

by DynaxSCHi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...11-17-2023, 10:56 AM -
by danny34Hello folks,
My Thinkpad E15 Gen2 with i7 had stopped loading and wouldn't start either. I noticed the typical error with the Mosfet QB6. This has become unsoldered.
I soldered it back on and found that the gate voltage was too low and that's why it was getting hot. Then I wanted to replace the UB7. Unfortunately the one I ordered from China didn't want to run.
So I soldered the old one back in and it still has its 18.9V at the output of QB6.
I stuck a thermal pad on the QB6 to cool it down a bit.
Now the E15 is running again, but unfortunately... -
