As you know, most multiple rails comprise of a single 12V source that splits off separate circuits with a diode and/or VR, an IC, etc. Whatever flavor the OEM wants to use as long as the circuit is isolated from the others...........

And I was thinking in terms of active relays etc....

Did it trip up in your hot or cold test?

Trip up? You mean when it tripped when I put 28A to it?

It would trip off whenever there was > 27A load on it. Period. Didn't matter the temp, if it was running for 2 seconds or 2 hours. It wouldn't do the 28A it said it could do.
