    Hipro HP-Q2767F3P

    I have a Hipro PSU Model HP-Q2767F3P (280w max output) from a MPC (Gateway) Clientpro 375 SFF. I believe it is a CTX form factor (it is small and L shaped).

    I am looking for someone to repair/rebuild it for me. I would do it myself but getting up there in age my eyesight is not what it use to be and this looks to be a tightly packed PSU.

    I have found replacements but they run around $70 for a 350w unit. I would like to stick with the original unit and just have it repaired/rebuilt as long as it is cost effective.

    It shows no signs of failure other than not powering on, no smells and nothing burnt that i can see from the outside.

    Anyone have any suggestion on where to get this done please let me know.

      If you post a few good focused photos of the power supply, it will give potential rebuilders a chance to see how difficult the job may/will be. On compact power supplies, the manufacturer will sometimes request a custom run of compact caps, which can add to the difficulty of rebuilding the supply. Use the "manage attachments" to upload your photos.

          Small typo its not a CTX form factor but a CFX form factor. Looks to be the same power supplies in the HP 7600 and 7700 SFF series desktops. Ill try to post some pics later but if your not familiar with this PSU then I would rather have someone that is do the work. As far as the caps go I will supply them once its determined what needs to be replaced so custom or not it should not be a factor in the price.

              I found a local shop that still does older Radio/TV repairs and had just hired a ex Navy ET (certified 2m repair). He hooked me up and totally rebuilt it pulling out all the crap Teapo etc caps and replaced them with Rubycons I had. He said this was a good PSU and I let him make a few other changes replacing a couple of components and he states it will do 350w now and gave me a 1yr warranty (written from the shop). It cost me $25 (my caps) and a 12 pack of Bud Light. Im thinking I got the better end of the deal.

                  Repair of an LG split AC system indoor unit PCB

                  I am trying to repair an LG split AC indoor unit, which does not start and gives a CH05 error code.
                  This indicates an error in the communication between the outdoor and the indoor unit.
                  The outdoor unit is fine, so the problem is the indoor PCB.
                  The indoor unit is an LG PC09SQ NSJ (3SNM09JA2FA), and the PCB has the following type number: EAX35907219-1.2 (see photo1)
                  I changed optocouplers ICO1X & ICO2X and the NPN transistor S9013 which drives optocoupler ICO2X (see photo2), but this did not remedy the fault.

                  Does anybody have the schematics of this board,...

                  I'm turning to the Badcaps community to help me troubleshoot the radio Rx card from my (old) garage door opener.                   Unit runs but no speaker output kenwood KR-6030

                  I have finished my work. The new lights come on except the one for stereo, I reversed the bulbs to no affect, anyway, the unit powers on, relay clicks. I have no DC voltage in speaker outputs, I also do not have any AC in the speaker outputs. There is some faint crackling in the speaker. This unit cranks up loud so I had the volume on very low. Everything seems to be fine but I can't really check the switch until I can get sound out of the outputs. I was going to do caps for the power supplys and the tone board but thought if it was cranking loud at one time maybe just leave it alone until it...

                  Bose Companion 5 - Unit Powers On then Cuts Off Shortly After

                  Hi guys,

                  Trying to salvage a Bose Companion 5 computer speaker system that powers off shortly after powering on. It's got a primary USB input (built in DAC) and an aux 3.5mm input. The USB appears to be the primarily source that tells the unit to power on (control pod LED goes green) as the unit has no power switch.

                  When I first connect power to the unit, plug in the USB, it will play audio nicely for a minute before it drops out and the unit appears to go into standby (control pod LED goes red). It stays in standby and I cannot seem to power it back on without physically...

                  Air-conditioning unit power supply failing to power up

                  Hi all, I managed to narrow down which PCB was causing my Haier AC to throw out an E7 error code (E7 indicates that the indoor unit and outdoor unit cannot communicate). I found that the outdoor unit power board which gives 5v and 15v to the outdoor unit module board fails to fully power up.. The power Led starts to fade in incredibly slowly and the 5v and 15v power buses jump around like crazy and never reach their required voltage. I unplugged the module board from the power board and the power board powered up fine! It had a steady 5v and 15v out and the power LED came on instantly and Bright....
