    Supervisor IC IN1S429I datasheet, EVGA PSU

    Hello Hello

    First post So I have a EVGA 750W GA supernova ATX PSU that does not work, it was working then I accidently reversed plugged the 24 pin connector(long story)

    After a little probing I may have a faulty supervisor IC. In my efforts I have manage to obtain the datasheet. Thought I would share it to help others as it wasn't on google.

    Currently seeking IN1S429I-DCG

      Bom dia pessoal.

      Estou para adquirir uma fonte XPG Pylon 550W, no e-comerce (MercadoLivre, aqui no Brasil), com defeito para reparo. Segundo o vendedor, a fonte tem um defeito neste CI IN1S4291-DCG, já procurei várias vezes no Aliexpress e não encontro.

                  Hey guys,

                  have a laptop here that has a supervisor Password (dump in Attachements).
                  Before i write the Serial NR.etc i wanted to say that strangely after flashing with 3 different Bios dumps and one from lenovos site
                  the laptop works but everytime it wants me to type a supervisor password i never set.
                  I thought the supervisor password is stuck in the ec bios but no it isn't either because after replacing the ec chip from one of another board it still has the supervisor password.
                  Anyway i wanted to ask what of the two chips is the ec bios because on the left...

                  I'm encountering an issue with my Lenovo X1 Yoga 5th Gen laptop related to the BIOS supervisor password. I'm seeking assistance and guidance from the knowledgeable members of this community in resolving this problem.

                  I am no expert and cannot perform soldering or unsoldering of the chip from the board.                   Getting rid of supervisor for x1 carbon 8th gen

                  Hi there,
                  As title says, i need to get rid of supervisor password, at bios enter if i let blank, it goes into bios but limited settings can be aplied.
                  X1 Carbon gen 8th : 20U9 - 0084MH
                  I opened and i think i found the bios chip somewhere near ssd m2.
                  Now i have some electronic skills and i have CH341A programmer with an additional 1.8v converter for those chips, but i am not sure if this chip is 1.8v or 3.3v.
                  I have read some topics and i saw there is a method to short some pins to get rid of that supervisor password, but i could not find relevant method for x1 carbon...

                  Corsair HX1200 connected w EVGA molex cable, 12V pin back feeded to 5V. Anybody has experience in this damages repair?

                  The power supply is 2020 Corsair HX1200 modular power supply.

                  Cause of damage: I connected EVGA molex cable to the Sata port and test it with a ATX tester. Since the pin out on the EVGA is wrong, result in the 12V pin shorted to the 5V pin, in the 12V back-feeded to the 5v port.

                  Damage: Power supply shorted out, shut off itself internally, damaged the 5v or 3v rail or the monitoring circuitry. The self protection circuit shut off the power supply when power up because it detected some abnormal/defect. I waited a few minutes, let it self reset then try to re power up....
