                                Hello,
I'm new here (came from Eevblog, for fixing some computer hardware 😀

First thing: thanks for the schematic ! 😎

                                The story:
I have a DELL XPS 9360 (french model from France) coming from my work to fix the Intel ME Bios part, which has failed without any reason after a Bios update from a fresh Windows install made with the MediaCreationTool from Microsoft 🙄
As we work professionaly with Dell, I have asked them some help, but they told me that the motherboard must be changed 🤦

                                I do electronics, I have a 3.3V modded CH341A which I use for mainly flashing 24Cxx Eeprom.
So I started to look at the way to flash it.
I have found this great topic here: https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/de...-disable/35154

So after analyzing and understanding the shematic(page 13 from PDF) and the boardview, I share with you the way to put this computer in Service Mode 😉
                                To sum up:
                                - remove the 0 ohm R1191 resistor
                                - solder a 1K resistor in the RC9 empty location
                                - join the 2 solder points you want on the SW1 switch (1+2=service mode, or 2+3=normal mode)

Dell Bios tells that we are in Service Mode, and I have successfully extracted the Intel ME Bios (32MB) which I have now to fix.

Some photos I have made too.
Hope you will like this post, as it is my very first here 😅
