Just realised while looking to order a new chip that I had actually selected the SOIC-8 version in the dropdown menu when autodetecting the chip. I have reprogrammed it now while having WSON-8 selected and I now get fan spin, keyboard backlight but still no display and reboots every 2 min....

I have uploaded a picture just in case. I also tried the given dump and I get keyboard backlight, no image and no fan spin. Am I missing something or doing anything wrong?...

Hello guys! I have an Acer Aspire A315-35 LA-K701P rev: 1D that I believe I might have disconnected the battery during a bios update. Fan runs full power but no display. Is this a bios issue? Here is the dump from the XM 128MB chip if anyone can help me (wonder if it is the correct one as mine is 16mb and all the others I see they're 5mb). Thanks in advance! EDIT: just realized I'm an idiot and the 5mb files were actually zipped. Second edit: Acer Aspire A315-35-P47B , board is LA-K701P rev: 1D, SN: NXA6LEK00H205064013400 , SNID: 20502560134. Apologies for incomplete post!...

Re: latitude 5300 with password
Hi I have posted this issue above. The bios password was removed but absolute is enabled and greyed out. Is there a way around it? Thanks in advance!...

Re: latitude 5300 with password
Thank you very much! It worked flawlessly to remove the bios password but can't get rid of the enabled Absolute feature. Already tried 1st boot into BIOS, write service tag but the Absolute is still greyed out. Any chance of being able to remove this?...

Re: latitude 5300 with password
Hello! I have a locked Dell Latitude 5300 2in1. Could find 32mb chip but no 8mb. The only other 2 bios chips on the board result in 1mb readings. Service tag is GCKZFW2. Thank you in advance!...

Re: Extract bios password from EliteBook 840 G8 Bios dump, possible?
Hello! I have an HP 840 G8 with no wifi. Was previously bios locked and someone unlocked it (don't know how). After this, there is no wifi and plugging a new compatible adapter makes no change (still not detected). Question is, has anyone seen this before and could it be repaired through a chip reprogramming or something? Thanks in advance and apologies if not posted in the right place!

Re: Dell XPS 9310 GDA30 LA-J143P bios repair please
Thank you! I see they are different size and can't tell what chip to flash each of them (I guess the _R goes to the winbond?). Also I forgot to post the service tag for it: 7HC0Q73...

Re: Dell XPS 9310 GDA30 LA-J143P bios repair please
Top man! I was still on version 7.51. I have managed to read the XMC but not sure if the Winbond 25Q80DV1G read is fine as flash detect gives me 26 possible selections. Also, second chip looks mostly empty after reading.
Thank you guys for taking your time with a newb!...
