X555 LJ water damage need boardview

    Hello,
I purchased an Asus F556LJ laptop with waterdamage - board X555LJ.

I removed water damage and device worked. But when it was dry, It didn't work anymore. When I put one drop of isopropanol on the area right of KBC chip, device works, but doesn't start on battery.
When device doesn't start (dry condition), +3VA_EC is not present, but as far as I see, theres no short in line. Both KBC and soft start unit for KBC VCC have been reflowed.

Someone has a schematic / boardview of this particular board? (i5-5200U, GeForce 920M).

Bios was already flashed using the BIOS internal program.

    Thanks in advance.

          Hello.
Did you find 5V and 3,3V power supply. Because in these 2 kinds of boards it can be similar.

Sorry for being away for such a long time.
Thank you for all your help and commitment.
Problem solved. Leg 12 & 13 BQ735 - Resistor 10 and 6.8ohm blown. After replacing these resistors, everything returned to normal.
              Thanks again to everyone.

MacBook Air M4 A3240 Brand New Water Damage no Image
                by Ugur87
I have a brand new 13.6-inch MacBook Air M4 that was only used for three days and now has water damage. A glass of water was spilled over it. I examined the motherboard and there was only water next to the display connector. I cleaned it with isopropanol and the components look clean. The MacBook obviously turns on and draws 20 volts from the power supply. The keyboard backlight comes on, but the display remains black. Where should I best start? Even when I shine a light on the display, I don't see any image. I have all the tools I need, including an infrared camera. Where should I best start?...

Stagg sms12p audio amp has water damage
                by edugimeno
Hi! My friend just brought this audio amplifier/speaker fro his music band saying they realized its got no sound. Led powers up but there no sound at all
I opened it and found 3 board. 2 of them are for input plugs and potentiometers, and the other larger board has the amplifiers for 2 large speakers that it drives
There's also a large toroid transformer that feeds a lower voltage to the first 2 boards and a larger voltaje (36x2 rectified close to 100v) to the power board. The power board has the plugs for both speakers
There is only one signal wire connecting the first boards...

Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15IAU7 that suffered water damage
                by Joel Ohana
                Hi,

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15IAU7 that suffered water damage. It doesn't turn on (white power light flashes when on button pressed), and the amber light flashes when plugged in.

                Symptoms:
                • Short detected – sparks appear when touching the charging port connection with board with a metal (even a multimeter probe).
                • Visible damage – after cleaning corrosion, I found 4 possibly burnt memory chips near PC3165, labeled UD5, UD6, UD7, and UD8.

What are my next steps to diagnose and possibly repair it without replacing the entire board? Any guidance would be greatly...

Like title says A2141 came in with Water Damage, customer desperately wants the data.

The actual water ingress doesn't appear too bad it sat for a day but was very dusty internally. I have no idea why L8504 was arced there is no apparent moisture there or around the LVDS cable; however, the LVDS to screen screw studs had popped off at some point and somebody tried securing it with kapton tape.

I had to create a micron wire pad jumper to reconnect the south side of the L8504 since the primary pad was blasted down to the vias.

That said after cleaning up the...
