i have been too optimistic with swapping lcd
and i now know story behind yoga 2 pro death, previous owner ,,repaired,, adapter and notebook died on over voltage, it lived short on battery, then died

hi all im dealing with a dead board on a Yoga 2 Pro i5 8gb Ram model that i accidentally tried to plug in the little "connector" that connects the motherboard to the daughterboard while i still had the AC power adapter plugged in (newbie mistake!) i was rushing, and tired.

luckily this is a personally device and not a customers device.

im hoping to repair it, not sure i have the same board posted in the archive or PDF on page 1 however.

can someone help me identify if this is the correct board as posted in the literature above or if i'm SOL?

I'm new for the forum, I got the same problem with the Lenovo 2 pro.

Do you still have the solutions?

For my case same problem mile yours but the fan start and stop for every 2 mins.

Need Lenovo Yoga 2 pro 13 NM-A074 boardview

Hello, I have Lenovo Yoga 2 pro 13 with i7 4500U processor and 8GB RAM. I do have the schematic KONA NM-A074.
The laptop is working fine with bluetooth keyboard and mouse, but not with attached ones. At the startup The backlit LED of keyboard is ON, but later is not working. I have tried all windows based setting and now looking for HW debug.

I am looking for boardview file for KONA NM-A074, as unable to find the resistor locations. Please share if any one have.

If any one resolved similar issue, suggest the way forward. Thanks.

Trying to find R313, which is supplying 3V to the keyboard matrix at JP9 connector.

Do you have the boardview? The board silk print only have very few components listed.

Unable to locate it on the silk screens but check near the JP9 connector.

To the right side - since the R313 mates with pin # 2, it should be close by.

Otherwise, post clear and zoomed up pics of the JP9 connector and nearby parts.

I have checked all the near by parts. I have tried to check continuity with PIN2 and surrounded components. None of them is show-up. The test pads near J9 connector show the connection. The other way I have tried to check the resistance between PIN2 and +3V on connector JP26 PIN15. No success. Any idea, which +3V rail might have connected?
