Hi!

I'm working on a hp laptop, which doesn't turn on, if it is, it shuts down unexpectedly.

Right now it doesn't have 3.3V or 5v as i measured.

I can not find a schematic to its board.

The number i found on it:
DA0R76MB6D0 Rev: D

under the RAM Dimms: Model R76

On a russsian site i found pics of the board with the same problem, but i'm not sure if i understand the instructions correctly there.

They found out that the power regulators are defective and gave the type's of them: NB669 and NB670

I measured the shown items and input 19.5V but can not find output.
And i would like make sure they are the exact components.

i hope You can give advices and tips on how to.
A schematic also would be fine.

You were all right.
The newest winrar solved the problem.
The schematic is almost matches with mb...

The NB669 and NB670 doesn't start...there is no voltage on leg 13 (EN)
the SIO leg 124 also 0V.
Can be the BIOS bad? or do You have any idea where to go on?

Program the BIOS. If the problem is not to decide, replace the SIO.

in your case it is KBC ITE8528

have you solved the problem by replacing the bios?

im getting 0v at pin 124 on SIO, also ACDET pin 6 on bq24728 only has 2.2v..is this normal???

Try this schematic

R75 and R76 both boards are different mate R76 motherboard 3.3 and 5volt DC to dc converters chips are individual

same problem here, R76 board, SIO doesn't show correct voltages, re-programming the bios did not help, i will try tomorrow to replace it, btw there is 3.3 and 5v but the motherboard does not power on

I had same problem with model 17-e050so and it had soldered cpu to motherboard and i did some mild reflow ,after that all was ok .Lousy lappy anyway.a4-4500m cpu

Dear all, I have a mobo with part# DA0R76MB6D0 REV and it is dead. I have checked out & found 5v /3.3v absent. 3.3v at SIO & EC. Any one have the schematic for it.

Here you have the correct schematic and boardview for your motherboard QUANTA R76 HP 15.
It should match exactly your board core voltages and components.

If you had a bad DC (Charging port) which is a common problem on these laptops, then is possible that the middle adaptor detection pin touch the positive +19V and damage few components.
You should check under the ram slot the components connected to that. These are R478 (100 Ohm), R467 (12 KOhm), D13 (1SS355 200mW High Speed SMD Switching Diode) and R466 (10 KOhm). When these are damage the charger type is not recognised by the Embedded Controller SIO IT8528E on pin 71 and also the charging port LED doesn't light up and the computer won't start. You also have to check this SIO Embedded Controller IT8528E which in most cases is getting damage by that high voltage applied to charger port signal detection middle pin. Also the bios can get corrupted for which you might not have the Standby Voltage 3.3V and 5V and power ON on the computer.
I hope this will help. I also attached a screenshot of that block diagram to make it easier.
