did you do a continuity test of the wires from the LCd cable?
Just cook it! It's already broken.

          its quite a longer story...
when I disassembled the lcd the cable was ripped(sheared) in half, probably from the original owner over-rotating the screen.

so its possible the some of the lvds signals were short-circuited

I bought a new lcd cable and the screen still does not come on.

I need a way to test the lvds output or I need a lvds driver to test the panel.

          Any suggestions?
