Good morning my dear buddies., Working on a MacBook Air (15-inch, M3, 2024 S. No: L16VWD9H7H), yes very ture!!! Just purchase laptop in Aug' 2024 for about $1900. My friends' daughter is the user, spilled liquid in the very 1st week of usage & did not inform anyone till the stage came that the components started to burn. Now the laptop does not turn on at all, stuck at 5v, most liquid is in the audio area & near all 3 audio chips SN012776B0YBH & most components black & burnt here. I am looking for the boardview file and the matching schematics (PDF) for the following MacBook Pro:
- Model: A1707
- 15-inch, Mid 2017
- 3.1 GHz Core i7
- 16 GB RAM
- Radeon Pro 560
- 1 TB SSD
- Board number: 820-00928-A
I already searched the forum, but so far I haven’t found a matching boardview for this board. In several posts I came across, it was also mentioned that the uploaded files were often incorrect.

Long shot but does anyone have a schematic & boardview for the audio board+power button on a Macbook A2179?

There is a shorted cap on mine and I need to know if I can safely remove it or whether I need to replace it and with what capacitor.
