Good morning my dear buddies., Working on a MacBook Air (15-inch, M3, 2024 S. No: L16VWD9H7H), yes very ture!!! Just purchase laptop in Aug' 2024 for about $1900. My friends' daughter is the user, spilled liquid in the very 1st week of usage & did not inform anyone till the stage came that the components started to burn. I have a 2018 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia OS) that I've been using for years with no problem. I recently received an M2 MacBook Pro so I'm mostly using it and not the 2018 one, but since a friend of mine needs a computer, I thought I could restore my 2018 and give it brand-new-like to my friend.
