I am repairing a VBOX Sport mobile data tracker with GPS and bluetooth. The USB charging port was ripped off the circuit board and a component was knocked off at the same time. I suspect a bi-directional TVS diode is the component but am not sure. Inspection of a second unit with a ripped off port but intact component reveals a surface mount micro-component that is black and has two bands on it in light gold. One at either end of the component. The component is similar to a resistor, a capacitor, or a smaller inductor in size and appearance. I am hoping for a circuit diagram for the unit to ID and confirm the component specs. Thanks.

by ee91137Hi,
I'm looking for assistance with a Mac mini (M4, 2024), model A3238 (Model MCYT4LL/A), which I recently purchased. The front USB-C ports are not providing power.
Upon inspection, I've identified that a chip and an adjacent capacitor have been physically ripped off the logic board near the SSD connector.
Could anyone provide information on the specifications of this missing chip? Additionally, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has access to the schematics and board view for the Mac mini A3238 logic board.
Thanks for your help!

by abajorJust wondering if I'm totally Fragged. I was trying to release the adhesive holding the t151 flex connector for J4900 and it ripped like paper. As far as I understand it the finger print reader is matched to the board? Is there any way to work around this?
This machine has a shorted U9080 (ELC180) which needs to be replaced.

The middle pad (B) on my steam deck's power button got ripped off. I want to bridge the middle pin to a via or another pad but don't know which one. Do you guys know any?
The pads with the stars are all ground.
In case there's no pad I can bridge to, do you know how to turn my deck on without using the power button? Thanks a lot 🙏.... -
by Ritchie_UkHi There
I purchased a Lenovo W550S about a year ago, and was really pleased.
Initially there was intermittent USB connection, which ended up being a bad connection
There was no TouchPad.
I ordered a pricey Pad that I was excited about, as I needed a solid machine for myself
It didn't Work, or should I say that still "No Touch Pad"
I was gutted, as I got the Laptop really cheaply
What next please?
Does anybody have any clues please?
I have taken the board out, and there and cant see any issues?... - Loading...
