the problem usually is the amd chip near cpu, it's a common issue in this type of laptop.
the chip if I remember well is the 215-0752007 rx881 or similar
If this chip is the culprit, don't reballing or reflow but it needs to be replaced
I have boardview for ver 2.0 and 3.0 , what version you need ?

Yes, the heatsink don't work properly because there is a piece of thermal silicon on the chip with time does not dissipate heat well
If the chip is not damaged you can try to
hold it down with two fingers and turn on your laptop, wait 20 sec, if is too hot use a piece of paper to protect your fingers.
again thanks for the hint with the Northbridge. Today i have Reflowed the Northbridge with enought Flux and long patience, to wait till Northbridge chip was dancing, and here we go the Laptop works fine, i got LCD Backlight on, i got Fan spinning, i got HDD movings and windows starts up.
