OK now i have disconnect the upper corner ribbon cable from picture. the screen works, BUT:
1. also the big vertical bar in the middle
2. mainchip on tcon dosent whisteling
3. faster responsetime (no picture delay or build up time)
4. also have the whithe silk over the screen, very pale
also i have a new failure, if i reconnect the ribbon after power down, i just got a black screen with the big vertical bar in the middle and the picture gets brighter but veerrrrrryyyyyy sloooooowwww....and the image isnt...

Do you mean the Corner Flex Cables?! (top and bottom)
these cables conect the horizontal and vertical lines, is this right?!

But why the blopp is just visible or comming on high Brightness?

I have take some pictures and i found another new failure.
If i take Brightness to 1 the Picture looks with a white silk over it and its very slow. (pic 3734)
If i turn up the Brightness to max then the colored stripe or blopp appears in the left upper corner (pic 3732)
The Stripe in the Middle is always there, but its not the ribboncable, i have pushed it on the glas and pcb side.
I have take detail pictures from the t con board. The chip makes some noise, like a mosquito. I have changed...Leave a comment:

Apple 820-2330 RAM issue
hy,
i got a 820-2330 apple macbook board. This board dont detect any RAM Modules. It is just beeping in a two second interval (no ram detected)
I have checked all powerlines there are still present and the RAM reset is ok.
[B]PP0V75_S3 = 0.756V
PP1V8R1V5 = 1.53V
MEM_RESET_L = 1.53V
PP3V3_SO = 3.37V
PP0V9R0V75_SO = 0.76V[/B]
Any ideas to check more details??

I think not. I reflowed the LVDS Chip a little bit and the area moves away. Not complete but it is a lot better than before.
In the screen there is no crack or anything else.
I have ordered a new LVDS Chip from chinese, lets try this one first.

Okay, more Information is comming.
On the Little board with the two Ribboncable there is a chip but i cant lift up the (Stone) Heatsink.
If i remove the right ribbon from board, the display is just split BUT the Other side shows a bit better picture. If i connect the two ribbons the Screen lags, it is updating the screen very slow and it shows complete weird colors.

This is the Monitor with Open case.
All Capaciators looking good. No Voltageflickering on any Capaciator (Measured with a Scope.
Did you think the Display is Fixable?
No Cracks on Screen this is the Image.

Hey jasko_jacker and all together,
again thanks for the hint with the Northbridge. Today i have Reflowed the Northbridge with enought Flux and long patience, to wait till Northbridge chip was dancing, and here we go the Laptop works fine, i got LCD Backlight on, i got Fan spinning, i got HDD movings and windows starts up.

Todaay i ordered a Boardview on en-manuals but they dont have any Schematics, this would be more Information for me.

Hy everybody,
i got a BordView from the K72DR Rev 3.0. But actually i cant find any Failure.
The CPU, GPU gets Warm. Battery is loading! No Display, no Backlights, no Beeps. The Southbridge is super hot.
The Fan is just pulsed by the board with a 1 sec intervall.
Schematics would be fine but i cant find any schematics for it.Leave a comment:

i know its a old Thread but today i got a Asus x72D too.
This Laptop boot up, the Powerlight is on and CPU get warm, but still do nothing more.
Searching for Boardviews and Schematics, do got anyone?!
