Schematic and Boardview for the 17821-1 board. Pretty much identical to 17821-2M.

C4204 and C4208 in this schematic are no stuff, however are fitted on the 17821-2M board. They are stuffed with 22uf 0806 caps. One of these was shorted on the board I just worked on and results in a completely dead machine with only 5V on USB-C. Essentially the main power rail (VINT20_IN) was shorted to ground.

This machine had been to a previous repair shop (for apparently 6 months I was told) and the top most USB C port had been butchered. But in this model, you can use either port to charge. They had reworked the entire USB-C area, even reprogramming the EEPROM by the looks. But they went down the entirely wrong path as the PD controller had most of it's supplies missing.
