Hp probook 600 g2 Fans are working no picture ?

Hi, I recently open my Asus rog strix g1513 laptop to clean the fans and while disconnecting the battery there was a spark near the connector (c6000) and a capacitor (C60050 ) and the keyboard , fans stopped working and the laptop only works when charger plugged in, otherwise no. I removed the burned capacitor and the nearby caps stopped shorting but the problem didn't go away when I turned the motherboard some capacitors ( c8047 c8048 c8049 c8050 c8051 c8053 - connected to pin 25 and 57 of the u8003(ite252e248a) and c8023 c8024 c8046 connected to pin 24 ) are shorting ,,,,pin 26 is ground...11-20-2025, 09:38 AM -
Hi all
While I have quite a decent background in electrical & electronic troubleshooting & repairs, this is my first time stripping down an LCD TV for repair.... I have inherited a 3yr old Panasonic LCD which has a picture, but it is quite dark (too dark to be watchable - but still quite easy to see; I didnt need a torch to see it).
I started by checking and trying to adjust all of the picture and backlighting levels, but that made little to no difference. I also did a factory reset.
From there I envisaged that the backlighting wasn't working, however... -

Hello guys. I have a problem with a PNY XLR8 GAMING RTX3090 graphics card. The problem is that it displays and works fine, but the fans don't spin at all. The problem occurred when someone else removed the fans in order to clean it and broke one of the fan connectors. He replaced it himself and after that, it wasn't working anymore. I guess he damaged something else in the process. What i have done so far: I found 2 capacitors next to the connector that were in a bad shape, he must have touched them with his tools - they weren't shorted, but i replaced them with similar ones from a similar card....04-12-2024, 06:54 AM -
Hello everyone,
I got a 58pus7805 that shows some weird behavior.
The menu and remote work fine and the picture is looking crisp and flawless while navigating the menu.
However, when a video source is displayed the screen either goes solid green (HDMI), solid black (SAT TV) or shows some fragments on mostly green background (AVI Playback from USB).
I tried to reinstall the firmware through the menu which was rejected saying it already had the latest version.
I managed to install the latest official firmware by holding the control button while plugging...
