Bios Admin Password

Hello everyone, I hope this is the right place.

My friend got a hold of his recently deceased brothers laptop, his brother used is for university studies. My friend does not know the password for the windows and gave it to me to reinstall windows on it.

Now, I am having a problem. I have never dealt with a closed bios before, specifically the Admin password which prevents me to change any settings on things like boot order to install windows from an external medium.

Do I reflash the BIOS? It does not have a CMOS battery apparently. Maybe you can tell me what I can do with it, or someone can generate an BIOSadmin password for it.
