im glad i checked, appreciate your help as always. Hopefully someone can help with the bios, unless you are able to advise which offsets need changed in my bios bin file, I am able to edit the file in HXD just not sure as to which 4 bits to change back to 00 as when comparing the untouched file from the first one from a few days ago the offsets dont match up with the untouched file from the second laptop identical model. the only difference i am aware of is i saw windows update perform a bios update when seting it up.
any advice appreciated, always looking to learn more
Thanks

It has initialised firmware as well, meaning if you were to use that bios you would have to clean the ME firmware first. You would run into an issue with the service tag as well and would have to edit in another clean bios region.Best wait for someone to unlock your bios

Hello here is the unlock file.
The offset lines that were edited are:
000f30c0
000f3e90
000f40c0
000f4e90
For GNU Linux I have a script for download on GitHub for people who are interested in this sort of thing.
I also uploaded a video to YouTube.
Maybe the link is allowed.

Just wanted to ask,,,, i compared the unedited bios from the fisrt 7410 from couple days ago to the one im working on today and at the first hex offset the data is different so i am unsure if this would affect the outcome to corrupt the bios if i changed the four bits of data to put it into factory mode
I think windows may have updated the bios on this one and thats why its different ?
anyway i have uploaded the untouched bios read from the sencond laptop
Thanks again
