    HP Zbook 15v G5 BIOS Unlock Help.

    Hello.

    Whilst trying to update the bios It seems I corrupted it. Tried every single solution but got nowhere. The original reason was because there was a password on Bios. Now it just boot-loops with black screen and doesnt post.

    Dump is attached. 32mb, chip was MXIC 25L25673G. Have Xgecu to read/write.

          HP Zbook 15v G5 BIOS Unlock Help.

          I bought a used laptop from eBay and the bios is locked. Please help me unlock, thank you so much for the help.

          I saved the bios dump where the bios chip location is marked by me.
          bios chip is " mx25l25673g "

          I also uploaded the bios dump file as an attachment. Any help in unlocking would be greatly appreciated.

              use the RCUnlocker tool on the 16MB bios and unlock it yourself

                      What's not clear? Everyone tells you to process the 16MB file, and you persistently try to process the 32MB file. Password is stored in the 16MB file, look for another chip on board.
                      I don't provide help for people using CH341A and a clip.

                          as the program will tell you, the password is in the 16 MB chip... look for another bios chip on the motherboard... on both sides...

                              Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

                              Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

                              Hi,

                              I've been working on this for about a week. I've read the threads and ordered and attempted to use a programmer to pull the BIOS dump from the laptop with no luck. I tried using RcUnlocker, but keep getting a dll error even after reinstalling the C++ Redistributable. I also tried NeoUnlocker and another program. None would pull up the chip.

                              That leaves me asking for help unlocking this BIOS. The laptop boots up to the Domain login with no issue. I can pull up the boot menu. Any attempt to open the BIOS or the BIOS upgrade menu is met with a password request....

                              I have come here with a rather specific question. I was given a Dell Latitude 7420 laptop with a busted screen, and wanted to see if I could refurbish it into my daily driver.
