Hi guys, I really need help please, I'm new to this , I read the 2 x bios chips/ files with CH341 programmer from Ideapd 3 15ITL6 which had a password lock on it, I wanted to get rid of the password, I saved these bios files and wrote/ptogrammed the "virgin" bios files I found on this thread to these bios chips not knowing about DMI etc. Unfortuantely my PC's hard drive crashed and I lost the original BIOS bins.
Can the Bios be rebuilt with just the serial numbers of the laptop?

no... it works without the DMI information, just with the virgin bios... you will receive a message at the beginning, after which it enters windows...

thanks for the response, then I'm doing something wrong cause when I program the virgin bios to the laptop it doesnt boot, I just get flashing power light and the cpu fan spins up but the screen is dead

post merged..next time look for a thread with the name and model, motherboard model of the laptop, and post there, if you can't find it, then make a new thread..
