    Bios required urgently for HP 15s-fq1003na

    Hi everyone, I am looking for some help to find the latest BIOS for a HP 15s-fq1003na laptop computer.

    Is there one available that I can use for this laptop?

    Please see the pictures attached for motherboard number if that is required.

      post the original bios of the laptop..

          Hi Peste, thank you for your response. Can you confirm how I can "post the original bios of the laptop"? The laptop won't power on so can not check in the BIOS settings.

                  Thanks Peste. Can you confirm which chip is the BIOS on the motherboard ?

                  Picture of the motherboard attached. I think it is the 8 leg chip just below the Black CPU Heatsink, would you be able to confirm this from the picture?

                      If someone would be able to provide some expertise, I'd be very grateful.

                      BIOS Corruption - Cause
                      So I managed to corrupt my machine by installing linux and enrolling custom secure boot keys. I did choose to enroll the Microsoft keys as well, to prevent any potential bricking due to 3rd party drivers from HP being signed with those keys.
                      After doing that, and rebooting(it did boot, powerLED, fanspin etc.), the laptop did not give any video output on the LCD or video connectors. I think I was able to get in BIOS and trigger the beeper by pressing ESC....

                      Hello everyone,

                      I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

                      When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

                      I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...

                      ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?

                      Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
                      With original bios no POST, only LED lights
                      With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                      Some issues
                      A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
                      B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                      Things I tried
