Update : got a bit sick. Computer is working no problem : I had the choice to permently disable computrace (which is done ) and supervisor password is disabled with no errors thanks to MaxPower EC file . The working bios for x380 is from 4Matic (Thanks). I managed to learn a bit from the dump provided. So i am assuming that computrace are those two 60 on adress 00000200 which needs to be zeroed out in order to have the choice to remove computrace. Supervisor password is disabled from zeroing out from adress 00000210 to adress 00000230 approximatively (I uploaded a binary diff between the original EC file and the one provided by MaxPower). As a bonus, I also read the EC chip when computrace has been set to permanently disabled beforehand (I uploaded the binary diff between MaxPower EC and the one read on the EC chip). Last thing here , are all the EC file in a compressed archive for ressearch purposes. Thanks for all the help given.

lost, what you think is computrace, is the checksum of each line of the password.
I will come back tomorrow for that.

About Computrace: It was not previously enabled on your machine.
when you did your tests with my technique or when you entered the bios the first time with it was not present.
this was only declared with the gayvum file or mine post#47??

already no trace in your bios.

Second, I've encountered this problem before on a PC that doesn't have Computrace enabled.
But when I corrupt the data it activates

we also notice, if we compare the files
that it is filled with FF while this one should contain 00s here.

                      causes errors code 0188 + 0189 and 0177

0177 for checksum stories, explained above

                      0188 + 0189
if I don't talk nonsense these 2 lines
                      creates RFID errors

Click image for larger version Name:	image.png Views:	0 Size:	154.8 KB ID:	3579235
what becomes interesting now is if we compare my file with the one you deactivated computrace .
value has changed for the last 4.
I haven't yet fully understood these lines but we can spot them because there are always 4 bytes on one and 4 on the other side with 00s in the middle

Maxpower3 , Initially when the bios booted and displayed invalid information (Indeed , i flashed the bios from 4Matic and your EC file at post #47 ) , I had computrace set to enabled and greyed out. Also at the beginning, before I was trying the LPC AD with short to ground method, computrace was also set to enabled. (Also thanks for your exhaustive explanation)

yes I saw that you had talked about computrace before, I thought it had appeared after the tests.
now, what helped to sober it up if it was still present with the files provided?
another bios and Ec but always present . weird

Yeah, kind of a mystery case at the end on this one
