the notebook's bios chip is defective, I tried to rewrite it here with a file I found on the forum, but it didn't record, it doesn't erase at the end it gives an error of failure when trying to erase

I have same issue on Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-75NB
Motherboard GH51M LA-K862P REV 1A

MB was shorted, so I changed 2 shorted mosfet (PQB11 and PQZ1).
Now power button work (turn on and turn off), lights up, keyboard lights, fun spinning normal with 1.40 Ah absorption and every voltages are good on every coils.
No display, no caps lock (when i press caps lock it not change, seems blocked).
Obviously I cleared and reseated memory RAM stick and tried on external monitor by HDMI.
I flashed three BIOS downloaded from this site but without success, maybe these files are not good for my MB model, so I attached my BIOS file and this is serial number: NHQB2ET00A1100CBC43400

You have 19V from the power supply getting to the processor (due to a broken PQZ1 mosfet) as a result the processor died, and actions with the BIOS firmware are pointless

The laptop originally came with an i7-10750H, but I’ve replaced it with an i5-10300H.
It has a dedicated RTX 3060 GPU.
I’m looking for a clean BIOS image with a matching ME region (Comet Lake-H / ME 14.x) that will work with this CPU.
If anyone has a working file or can help build one, I’d really appreciate it.
I can provide a dump of the original BIOS if needed.

Thank you so much... After flashing the modified BIOS, nothing happens — everything is still the same. The CPU is probably not soldered properly, even though the resistance readings look fine... I’ll probably have to do a reball again.

Before you go ahead with a reball can you tell us where did you get the i5-10300H from ,was it new or from a donor. If it was a donor what make/model is the motherboard.

I bought the same laptop – Acer Nitro 5 AN517-52, with motherboard model FH52M LA-J891 Rev:1B – but it had a damaged graphics card. The processor was supposedly functional. It's weaker than the original one, but that wouldn't bother me. I thought I could do a downgrade, but unfortunately it seems it didn't work. Even though the processor heats up and has good resistance, something is still wrong. I’ll probably try to buy an i7-10750H somewhere
