    Post your full laptop model number, for example 17-1190nr. What BID number is in your bios, if you don`t know then post your bios backup as well.

                you didn't understand...the EC bios extracted from the update on the HP website is identical to the EC bios you posted in post #3...for this reason I didn't post it again...so your original EC bios is OK....
