this is very common problem
by mistake i but DELL V2520 bios 8mb 25q64 and the lap work fine but no detect the hdd
so all thing is good already try io and step down 3 and 5 v ic all what you think i try expect change chip but it's open good at 8mb bios
so any one solve this aware problemComment

Hello guys ,i have a dell latitude 5590 with f411p bios,this laptop has bios password ,i tried to read the bios(winbond 25q128jv) with ch341 but when goes to verify give error ,it said doesnt match .After this i flashed another bios which is cleaned and then the laptop was dead ,i tried to turn on but only white light in the buton power turned on several times and then no display at all .I had a backup and flashed again the original bios ,but this time the laptop will not turn on at all ,no light nothing,the bios original bios that i flashed was having verify error when i verified with ch341 ,i... -
Hello everyone,
I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.
When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.
I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder... -

hallo,
i have an asus X515KA-EJ058W here.
just both leds white...he battery blinking without battery connected
consuming ~400mA and tries to start but nothing happens but fan spinning if cpu gets warm
if i hold the power button it shuts down and consumes ~30mA i cant spot anything getting warm with thermal....the ec/sio a liiiitle but this is maybe normal beacause it is working ?
power on again is possible but again 400mA then and no picture.
now the really strange
i flashed bios (some version i found on the internet) and resoldered....sometimes... -

I'm looking for a BIOS modder or anyone with experience who would give me suggestions about my razer blade's BIOS settings.
I can view and edit the content of the BIOS .bin file with AMIBCP BIOS editor.
The BIOS files I'm working with are from badcaps.net and those are CLEAN BIOS files (anyone can find it with the search string: RZ09-0421).
