Hello. I have problem with my E590. I accidentally disconnect laptop from charger during BIOS restarts, and now it's bricked. 🤦♂️
When I connect charger, power button LED blinking 3 times shortly, but when i try to turn on, the LED blinks longer 3 times and stays on. Power consumption is 0.080 - 0.100A.
I tried few BIOS from forum but doesn't change anything, still the same LED sequence.
Laptop is
Lenovo Thinkpad E590
Mobo: NM-911 rev 1.0
Type: 20NB-002BMH
S/N: PF-1JS76S 19/06
Intel I5-8265U (SREJQ)
I also changed bios chip to another from VSCC list but still the same thing.
Of course I made backup of ori bios.
If someone can repair my BIOS dump, would be grateful.
Thank you

Hello everyone,
I have an older Lenovo Thinkpad E590 for which I unfortunately forgot the BIOS password I used.
I managed to read the bios with the CH340A. There are a few videos circulating on the Internet in which the password is decrypted - unfortunately I couldn't find it at this point in the dump.
What options do I have to reset the bios password?
I have attached a dump of my bios.
Notebook type:
Lenovo ThinkPad E590
20NB-CTO1WW
S/N: PF-1NTXHP
Mainboard: MN-B911, Rev. 1.0
It would be great if someone could help me.
Unfortunately, Lenovo doesn't have .bin files.
I've already searched online - but haven't found anything suitable.
Thank you!
Andreas

So, I've read it several times and compared it.
Now both the CRC is correct and Diff says the dumps are the same.
I hope this file fits now.Attached FilesComment

Hello everyone,
I have now created a patched version of my bios dump using the Lenovo Autopatcher.
Unfortunately, the notebook only emits a few beeps when starting up and otherwise only has a black screen (according to the Lenovo app: Error 285 - function-related TCG compliance problem).
With the patched Bios-File the notebook is not working :-(
Then I reset the TPM module (clear-tpm -useppi), which i have read in one Thread.
I then re-flashed the original bios dump - then the notebook works again - but unfortunately with the bios password.
Does anyone have any other ideas what I can do to remove the password?
Kind regards:
