I mistakenly posted this in the wrong thread (different model) so here we go:
can you please repair this bios dump? gives backlight and nothing else - there is bitlocker on the sdd so maybe we can save the data
ST: 5ST4P93
EX: 12625892823
motherboard: 19862-1
It must be Vostro 5502 (the damn thing has not "model" label so I uploaded a pic)
I tried other dumps (from 5406/7502 I think as I was in that thread earlier), a few would not save the ST or exit manuf. mode and one from above that worked does not see the nvme. Keyboard/trackpad also don't work but maybe that's a different issue.
post merged ..next time look for a thread with the name and model, motherboard model of the laptop, and post there, if you can't find it, then make a new thread..

ok just tried them but I get no image, fan came on a couple of minutes later, the power led turns on white, stays for a few secs and fades out, repeat - caps lock led also on all the time.
using known good ram in single/both slots

Re-check your soldering, give it at least 5-10 minutes to boot

unfortunately I get the same - white led on -> off -> repeat... but I found a working set 8/16mb (everything works: keyboard, trackpad, nvme) but it won't save the Service Tag and keeps turning on to Manufacturing Mode.
is it possible to:
1) make it save ST
2) transfer bitlocker keys from original non-working dump? now that it sees the nvme it asks for bitlocker key, the owner didn't know they had bitlocker enabled
attached is the "semi"-working bios
thank you so much for your efforts guys, I'd be happy to buy beers!

Try these, flash both. Bitlocker keys are not stored in the bios, the owner will have to log into his microsoft account to recover the key.

unfortunately this also causes the same behavior i.e. white led on->off->repeat only difference I now have full fan spin which your previous files didn't bring up (noticed that when a bios gives image the fan is indeed spinning fast so this is normal).
I tried the "working but not saving" bios I mentioned before, then downloaded the official bios from DELL, flashed it using a USB which completed successfully and NOTHING CHANGED... Im going to hang myself in the lab (soldering disoldering the chip one of the legs broke and I had to use the grinder, resolder it under the microscope and reinforce it with uv glue - now I only use hotair - the chips cannot be programmed onboard as I tried with clips AND the spring-loaded pin adapter for SOIC). So after successful update through USB, the Service Tag still cant be saved.. other changes to BIOS settings are stored successfully i.e. disable virtualisation etc. If you guys are willing to give up I totally understand.
