Dell Latitude 5520 Bios Password unlock

hi Markus1741 I have read the bios file in situ with pogo sticks and taken off board and read same result every time, is there any thing available that will get me out of this situation, like a generic bios, the machine fires up 1 out of may be 50 -60 so seems to be bios related. Thanks

hi SMDflea i am using the xgecu pro T48 and their latest softwear ver 12.67 it detects the chip as a 128mb if auto selcted but cant open in ME analyser r355 done about 20 reads and all same with chip on and off the board

If you have another programmer, such as a CH341A try making another backup with that, to rule out any problems with the T48. The file is definitely corrupt

Now I don't know if this is an alternative but it works.
David Griffith's minipro project for the T48 has been around for a long time
It's just Linux, but I tried it and it worked for me on a Dell 5501 with 8FC8.
Reading and writing at 480Mbps takes significantly longer than with the original software.
I don't know if you're familiar with Ubuntu.

When it starts there is a led error code(3 amber + 3 white) and a sequential RGB screen.
I downloaded the BIOS.RCV file from dell and it boots up, but when I want to recover the BIOS it opens an Admin Unlock window(with code 16388S3-8FC8) asking for the BIOS admin password which I don't know.
Can anyone help?
