If you have another programmer, such as a CH341A try making another backup with that, to rule out any problems with the T48. The file is definitely corruptComment

Now I don't know if this is an alternative but it works.
David Griffith's minipro project for the T48 has been around for a long time
It's just Linux, but I tried it and it worked for me on a Dell 5501 with 8FC8.
Reading and writing at 480Mbps takes significantly longer than with the original software.
I don't know if you're familiar with Ubuntu.

Hi guys,
I have a Dell Latitude 5520 MFG YR-2022, ST:16388S3, EX:2545002867
When it starts there is a led error code(3 amber + 3 white) and a sequential RGB screen.
I downloaded the BIOS.RCV file from dell and it boots up, but when I want to recover the BIOS it opens an Admin Unlock window(with code 16388S3-8FC8) asking for the BIOS admin password which I don't know.
Can anyone help?

Dear Sir,
I need help removing/unlocking the BIOS Service Tag password on my Dell Latitude 5520 laptop.
Problem details:

by Akhlz001Hi,
Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...-

3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"
(from here https://www.dell.com/support/manuals...e7a&lang=en-us)
I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

by Jeff'sTechHello everyone.
I have come here with a rather specific question. I was given a Dell Latitude 7420 laptop with a busted screen, and wanted to see if I could refurbish it into my daily driver. I wanted to experiment and see if a 2-in-1 display would work as the chassis of the laptop and 2-in-1 7420 looked identical. I threw in the display and my hypothesis was correct, however, I was greeted with a locked BIOS and since I didn't know the password, I figured I'd try to unlock it somehow. I bought one of those POGO pin probe things for my CH341A programmer so I could read and make... - Loading...
