Peste you are the best.

ME Region fixed!
After flashing the notebook started in some kind of manufacturing mode and rebooted several times. There was als an ECM recovery routine.
Now ME is recognized correctly in Windows (no failure code 10). The computer i no longer slow.

How did you fix it? Please advise....

try this..

Hi. It works! I did a reset for security settings and bios defaults. Had 33 mpm boots and it asked me to program all information: board ct, build id and so on. Feature byte had one last character missing on sticker so I found correct one on hp partsurfer website.

This method is not okay... You should warn people that MPM will be unlocked and all DMI must be reinserted again.


Try this instead - you just need to reset security settings to default after you get into bios.
