Did you verify content of the chip after programing? What programmer you are using to do the job? CH341a or another?
Check if the chip is programmed correctly, and the chip itself is soldered correctly at the motherboard. Hello I have a dell optiplex SFF plus 7020 with a password that I recovered from e-waste. It is possible to get the password removed via the bios patch method? I managed to dump the 32MB bios chips and would like help patching it to MFG mode so I can clear the password.

I only have WINBOND 25Q80DVSIG1939 on the board
Found as a BIOS chip, a 1 MB file is stored there. I uploaded this file here. If I'm wrong and another chip is the BIOS chip, please let me know.
