If you open the bios with a hex editor you`ll see the serial number, 5CD4435P1Y
Go to HP support,enter the serial number,download the bios update.https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers...A&ssfFlag=true Run the exe,it will give you the option to save the bios to a location,the full bios will be decrypted and saved. Copy the DMI info from your backup to the virgin bios using the off-sets in the picture

im confuse, the new file is 8mb, and the laptop bios backup its 4mb

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp870...00/sp87356.exe .Run the exe ,choose save,save it to the desktop .For some reason you downloaded the wrong bios,or you have a folder called swsetup already with a different bios in it.

Read it three times and use hex editor to compare with the analysis tab, two at a time. They should be identical. Post it here, I or someone will fix it.
