Apparently you are not using an eprom programmer, I will check the sum and return.

Apologies I'm totally new to this and I'm trying to take the bios dump with AMI flash utility AFUWINGUI.EXE which saves it as ROM file.

The file has no checksum problem, try configuring the AMI flash utility or use an eprom programmer, type CH341.

This is not full bios dump. Not going to work in way you want it, the descriptor region is configured with bios region read/write access as granted, but still be a hard job to do it, moreover there's a chance to brick the machine in a process, so do your self a favor and do it the right way - with the programmer.

The file has no checksum problem, try configuring the AMI flash utility or use an eprom programmer, type CH341.

I don't want to open the tablet and there are people who do it this way.. through the AMI flash utility

It definitely can be done through AMI flash utility.. I know people they advertise do it through team viewer. They take the dump edit the file and flash it back, a job done in 10mins but they charge a lot and I wanted to see if there's someone out there who can do it too.

At your own risk try this,if it doesn`t work or bricks it then you will have to use a programmer to flash.
Start AFUWINGUI and go to the setup tab,untick "Program all blocks" ,tick "Do not check ROM ID"

If it still boots to a checksum error the bios might need a little bit more editing - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ighlight=FZ-G1
