If your bios file is original and before modifying this laptop, please upload my cleared bios file and the laptop must start properly.

I disconnected all the batteries, flashed your file, reconnected batteries and charger, turned on the PC and for a moment the keyboard lit up (as with my original file) but then black screen

I had the same exact issue also i had forgotten my supervisor password so to completely wipe your bios and make it new with no supervisor password attached to it.

          Follow These Steps

First apply the Bios patch step 1 and make sure batteries are disconnected.
Wait for it to boot up then press f1 to go into the bios Password is (1234)
For hardware id press anything then press enter and space twice it will tell you to turn it off.

Flash step 2 once its done power it up without connecting the batteries and see if it boots up to the bios screen. It will take about 20 seconds for the screen to show then go straight into the bios set it up how you like and boom you've now got a fresh bios with no passwords attached to it to.

I only cleaned the me-region mapping. Password supervisor should know makaveli_763 because it is his original bios file. I can see that the bios is working and you have patched it. Then the makaveli_763 laptop has another problem not related to the bios.

Did you know flashing a new bios won't remove the supervisor password since its related to the tpm chip rather than the bios chip. So even if you were to flash a new bios there would still be a password on it

Also my bios had no other problems as the only problem i had was forgetting my supervisor password which i had set back when i brought this laptop (2015)

To remove the password you have to use the flashed bios i used which resets your tpm chip completely, Then you would have to flash your orginal bios back.

My M.2 2242 ssd works also 4g modem and my wifi card so i dont think there is anything wrong with my bios

I tried makaveli_763's Step 1 with the same result, I have stock wifi card but a custom display... do you think it could be the problem? The custom display worked before I screwed up but I can put stock one back

Fixed: Lenovo P14s Gen 1 (type 20Y1, 20Y2) Laptop (ThinkPad) bricked by a withdrawn BIOS update (r1buj82w)
                    by akwky
                    Hi!
Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

Incidentally, Windows 11 have recently started auto-flashing computer BIOS in our region. Even more suspiciously, Lenovo has released a BIOS update just few days before the PC was trashed. About a week later, the BIOS update image has been oficially marked...

                    Lenovo Thinkpad L14 Gen2 AMD (20X5) - Bricked BIOS
                    by axtrixx
Hi everyone, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad L14 Gen 2 AMD (20X5) with supposedly bricked BIOS, when powered on, I only get short keyboard lights and fan spin, nothing on the screen, no beeps. I have couple of questions, that I hope someone will have the answers to.

                    1. What is the correct chip that needs to be flashed?
I've was able to read the chip near the right hindge (on the motherboard picture) with the CH341A, but I'am not sure If this is the BIOS chip.

                    2. Does anyone have a working BIOS file for this model?

                    3. Is it possible to flash the BIOS chip with...

So far I've been a silent reader, but now I need your help

I bought a laptop. The seller said the bios was locked. I was looking for a way to remove this ban.
I then got the CH341A and pulled the corresponding files from here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...evices-and-ele...
The laptop was brought in with a BIOS problem and a password. After reading the dump, the information was damaged. I ask for help in the BIOS with a clean ME region. Motherboard 213035-1. Serial number: PW+04e998, Type number: 21c3-0016ge

Should I buy a Lenovo Thinkpad E495 with bios password?
                    by RMDUiFT
Good day. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong topic. I saw somebody selling a Thinkpad E495 with a Ryzen 3500U CPU near me. In the pictures the laptop is running windows 10. I contacted the seller and asked a few questions about upgradability and if it has a bios password on it. He confirmed it has a bios password. I searched through the forum, I found a guide regarding removing the bios password using the autopatcher, I also found a thread with the e495 where people requested help with unlocking the bios password.

                    I have a few questions:
                    • If I would buy this laptop and have
