for the ones that identify as SPID 204313
manually select as XMC 25x256xx . it works
the padding in the bios first listed is where the patch is from others..
grab someone's and replace your padding (w Uefitool and Hexeditor) extract as is in uefitool. then replace same area in yours and save as new file DONT overwrite your backup!.Comment

Hello everyone,
I need the EC firmware dump for Dell Latitude 5420, motherboard GDF40 LA-K491P Rev 3.0 (A02).
The embedded controller is MEC5107-LJ (UE1).
The EC flash chip is W25Q80DV, 8Mbit (1MB).
I already have the 32MB BIOS dump (W25Q256JV), but my system is still not powering on — just amber blink. I suspect the EC firmware is missing or corrupted.
If anyone has this board and can share their EC dump from the 25Q80DV, I’d be very grateful.
