The one you posted is a virgin bios,so the ME is clean. Check it with MEAnalyzer (Configured = Clean , Initialised = Dirty). If it isn`t booting with that bios the problem is somewhere else,thats assuming that 0881D is the right one for this model, there`s another 3 16MB bios you can try.

This bios is right for this model, and I flash it to laptop and work fine, when shutdown laptop and leave it for a while and try to startup again, its start with black screen. flash it again work then black screen. five times same problem.
any ideal?

Replace the SPI Flash (bios chip) with a new one.

Replaced it with another one same problem, not same number but same capacity. work fine after shutdown, turn on then off.

HP bios LA-K201P REV 1.0

their friends I have this hp notebook

model : 15-dw3017nt
serial : CND120557V

there was fluid contact .. I solve all problem but about bios I cant solve
On the board there is 8 mb bios .. Ifind 2 of 8 mb and the other 16 mb

can you look and say something .. this is back bios

post the full name and model of the laptop S/N..and the original bios even if it is corrupted.

Then, how do I fix the "manufacturing mode unlock", and inject the serial number?
